Why do we pray?
WHY PRAY?
Prayer is not just to get the things we need in our life. Prayer is a time of fellowship with Our Heavenly Father. It's a time to get to know Him more personally and what He desires for you. It's a time to receive freedom, rest and joy. It's a time to refresh from all the things in this world that have been keeping you down, broken or sick. God loves spending time with all of His children.
HOW TO PRAY:
To receive answered prayers, we need to know the Will of God. His Word (the Bible) is His will. It shows His love for us and what He desires for us. It is written in the Word of God that if we speak His Word, it will not return void (Isa. 55:11). That means His Word will destroy all evil against you. His Word will free you and heal you. Whatever He promises in the Bible, He is faithful to perform. God wants to show us His heart's desire which is for you to be free and serve Him freely.
